Dermatology

Windcrest Veterinary Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of dermatology services provided by Kevin Shanley, DVM, DACVD.
Dr. Shanley is originally from Indiana and a graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his
residency in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 and remained there as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology
until 1992. He has since been in private practice in various veterinary specialty hospitals in the Philadelphia region.
He was also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania until 2009. His special interests
in dermatology include allergic skin disease, ear diseases, autoimmune skin diseases, dermatopathology and adverse drug reactions
affecting the skin of dogs and cats. He is a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and is also a member of
the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, the American College of Veterinary
Dermatology and the American Veterinary Medical Association. With Dr. Michael Goldschmidt, he also is a consultant for DermPath
Consultants, a skin biopsy service for area referring veterinarians. He will be receiving patients at the Windcrest Veterinary Hospital
on Mondays beginning December 6, 2010. He also sees patients at the Veterinary Referral Center in Malvern, PA on Tuesdays through Fridays.
